Harold Turner Collection

University of BirminghamThe Harold Turner Collection is an internationally renowned collection of approximately 27,000 items on New Religious Movements.
The collection consists mainly of photocopies of articles from periodicals/ newspapers, theses, academic papers and excerpts from books which belonged to the academic, Rev. Dr. Harold Turner.

The collection focuses on material connected with new religious movements in so called primal societies. It contains research into the phenomenon of new religious movements arising out of the interaction between traditional cultures and religions with biblical teaching, and with other religions on all continents. The collection is arranged by continent and then by country and then by theme.

It has taken about three and a half years to fully catalogued and the records are now available on the Cadbury Research Library’s catalogue Рhttp://calmview.bham.ac.uk/.
