Nelson Mandela exhibition at City and Islington College

City and Islington College in London is hosting an exhibition in memory of Nelson Mandela at the Centre for Business, Arts and Technology. The exhibition has been created by college staff who were involved in the Anti-Apartheid Movement in the 1980s and 1990s and aims to describe the segregation and racial discrimination of the apartheid system and the role of the African National Congress in opposing it. The exhibition will run for six weeks and on 5th March a commemorative event will take place with a panel discussion and performances by students of African-themed dances, songs and readings. See
