The photographs have resulted from a workshop organised by international photographers <a title=\"Andrew Esiebo\" href=\"http:\/\/www.andrewesiebo.com\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Andrew Esiebo<\/a> and <a title=\"Brendan Bannon\" href=\"http:\/\/www.brendanbannon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Brendan Bannon<\/a>, which asked people in Rwanda to take photographs representing their lives, and to present images of Rwanda to an international audience. The images show economic change in the capital city, Kigali, but also ongoing\u00a0rural poverty\u00a0and\u00a0tensions remaining from the genocide of\u00a020 years\u00a0ago.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Rwanda in Photographs\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kcl.ac.uk\/cultural\/culturalinstitute\/showcase\/current\/whatson\/exhibitions\/rwanda.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Rwanda in Photographs: Death Then, Life Now<\/a> runs from 21 March to 30 April\u00a0in the Inigo Rooms, Somerset House East Wing, Kings College London.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An exhibition of photographs from Rwanda has opened at Kings College London.
