The Centre holds strong archival collections relating to the work of the Salvation Army in Africa.<\/p>\n<p>See especially:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Salvation Army\u2019s international administration, including the Africa Zonal Department (<a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=AFZ\" href=\"http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=AFZ\">AFZ<\/a>), Chief of the Staff\u2019s Office (<a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=COS\" href=\"http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=COS\">COS<\/a>) and the General&#8217;s Office (<a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=GEN\" href=\"http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=GEN\">GEN<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>\u2018Overseas Territories\u2019, such as Nigeria (<a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=NG\" href=\"http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=NG\">NG<\/a>), Zimbabwe (<a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=ZIM\" href=\"http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=ZIM\">ZIM<\/a>) and Zambia (<a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=ZAM\" href=\"http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=ZAM\">ZAM<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>Books and pamphlets in the reference library, for instance those written by \/ about SA missionaries and various African \u2018Territories\u2019 (such as <a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=H\/ZIM.4\" href=\"http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=H%2fZIM.4\">H\/ZIM.4<\/a>, <a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=X\/BEC.101\" href=\"http:\/\/www.calmview.eu\/SalvationArmy\/CalmView\/TreeBrowse.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&amp;field=RefNo&amp;key=X%2fBEC.101\">X\/BEC.101<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Only a small fraction of the SA\u2019s total holdings are currently available via the catalogue; additional catalogue records will be added several times a year. Some of the work behind the catalogue is described in the Heritage Centre\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.salvationarmy.org.uk\/uki\/Our_Blog\">blog<\/a> , which will be regularly updated with posts relating to the collections.<\/p>\n<p>The Salvation Army International Heritage Centre comprises archives, a library and a museum.
