Use the tags on the right to navigate.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nai.uu.se\/library\/resources\/guidetoafrica\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Nordic  Africa Institute<\/a> produces a guide to Africa on the internet and lists resources by country or region, subject and other guides and directories.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.columbia.edu\/cu\/lweb\/indiv\/africa\/cuvl\/\" target=\"_blank\">Columbia University<\/a> has an African Studies internet guide with links to African resources by region and country, by organization, topic, and other related websites.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www-sul.stanford.edu\/depts\/ssrg\/africa\/search.html\" target=\"_blank\">The University of Stanford<\/a> has a very useful Africa internet directory, searchable by country and topic, as well as links through to the library\u2019s Africa pages.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sabinet.co.za\/?page=african-journal-archive\" target=\"_blank\">The African Journal Archive<\/a> is a collection of digitised journals, freely available on the web.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ascleiden.nl\/Library\/Abstracts\/ASA-Online\/\" target=\"_blank\">African Studies Abstracts<\/a> provides a quarterly overview of journal articles and edited works on Africa.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eldis.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Institute of Development Studies<\/a> in Brighton provides ELDIS, a database of free information on development policy, practice and research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Information about Africa on the internet \u2013 there are many sites providing gateways to freely available African resources and materials.
