Film Africa 2014 begins on 31 October

Film Africa 2014, the Royal African Society’s annual festival celebrating the best of African cinema, begins on 31 October and runs until 9 November. 85 films from 23 African countries will be screened at venues in central London, including thrillers, historical dramas, documentaries and short films, with particular strands marking the 20th anniversary of democracy in South Africa and the 60th anniversary of the Algerian revolution.
